Ballpoint pen refill replacement steps

Step 1: open the pen barrel

Rotary type: hold the upper and lower parts of the pen barrel and twist counter-clockwise to unscrew.

Pull-out/push-button type: directly pull out the front or rear section of the pen barrel with force to expose the internal refill.

Step 2: take out the old refill

Pull the old refill out from the pen tip.

Pay attention to whether there is a spring at the end of the pen refill (usually there is one for push-type pens). if there is, take it out together. please keep the spring properly and do not lose it.

Step 3: install the new refill (key step)

Insert a new refill, with the tip facing forward, into the front of the pen barrel, passing it through the pen tip opening.

If it is a push-button type, first put the spring on the end of the new refill, and then put the refill and the spring into the pen holder.

Gently press the end of the pen refill to ensure that the pen tip can extend and retract normally.

Step 4: reattach the pen barrel.

Align the two parts of the pen barrel, tighten it clockwise or press it back into the slot to ensure that the pen barrel is closed tightly.

Step 5: try to write

Draw a few circles or write a few strokes on the paper to make sure the writing is smooth.
