1. Warning

1. This smart charger can only charge cylindrical lithium ion batteries (Li-ion-3.70V/3.80V), lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4-3.20V), and nickel metal hydride/nickel cadmium (NiMH/NiCd-1.20V) batteries; and square 9V nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery (Ni-MH-9V);

2. Before use, please carefully refer to this manual, pay attention to the recommended charging current of the rechargeable battery, and do not charge beyond the recommended current;

3. Select a 12.0V DC adapter, and the power supply current shall not be less than 3.5A (ampere);

4. The charger may generate heat when charging; please place it out of the reach of children during charging;

5. Please unplug the power supply and remove the battery when it is not in use;

6. It can only be used indoors at room temperature;

7. The test data of this product is for reference only; please refer to professional instruments for actual conditions.

2. Charger Specifications and Functions

1. Adopt DC 12.0V 3.5A (minimum) input, with intelligent charging and microcomputer management system for each slot;

2. The biggest highlight of this charger is the simultaneous charging of multiple types of batteries and the charging of 9V NiMH rechargeable batteries;

3. The charging current is automatically identified as 0.5A (12 cells inserted) / 1.0A (only 6 cells inserted);

4. During charging, the LCD can display the battery symbol, channel CH and real-time data, including battery type (LI-ION, NIMH), charging current (A), battery voltage (V), and charging percentage (%). The standby screen displays "null". If the channel is short-circuited or the battery is reversely connected, the screen will show "Err". When the battery is fully charged, the LCD data will be locked at 100%, and the battery icon will stop flashing. Each slot is equipped with red and green indicator lights: red light on for charging, green light on for fully charged. The red light flashes to warn of abnormal conditions such as short circuit, reverse connection or defective battery;

5.The system can automatically identify 3.70V lithium batteries and 1.20V NiMH/NiCd batteries. Press the MODE key to manually select 3.20V LiFePO4 batteries and 3.80V IMR lithium batteries. The 9V NiMH battery supports charging without data display on the LCD screen;

6. Built-in 0V low-battery activation function. Batteries between 1.65V and 2.20V cannot be charged normally, but support weak trickle activation current recovery;

7. Multiple safety protection functions: overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, short-circuit protection, reverse-connection protection, and intelligent bad battery detection;

8. Standard charging mode: constant current and constant voltage (CC/CV).

3. Key and Display Operation

3.1 Button Function Description

MODE Key (Charging Mode Switch): This key is used to select the battery type. Within 8 seconds after powering on the charger and installing batteries, press MODE to switch battery types: Li-ion 3.70V, Li-ion 3.80V, LiFePO4 3.20V. The 1.20V NiMH/NiCd batteries are automatically recognized by the system. Long press MODE during operation to reselect the battery type; previous charging records will be cleared after reselection.

Channel Query Keys (1-4 / 5-8 / 9-12): Press the corresponding key to check the real-time charging data of the grouped 12 slots. The screen displays data from the low channel number to the high channel number (CH1 to CH12). Long press any query key to lock the LCD in the always-on state; long press again to restore the automatic sleep brightness mode.

3.2 LCD Display & Indicator Rules

After power input, the LCD fully lights up for 3 seconds, then enters standby and displays "null". All channel indicators flash red and green once and then turn off. The 9V charging channel green indicator stays on in standby mode.

When batteries are detected, the LCD shows the battery icon, channel number, battery type, real-time current, voltage and charging percentage. If manual battery type selection is needed, the icon flashes 9 times, then the system enters formal charging after about 9 seconds. The circular battery icon scrolls during charging, and the corresponding slot red indicator stays on.

During the working status, press the 1-4 / 5-8 / 9-12 keys to switch and view each slot parameter. Tap any key to wake up the dimmed screen. When charging is completed, the screen locks at 100%, the battery icon stops flashing, and the channel light turns to steady green.

Abnormal detection reminder: short circuit, reverse connection or damaged battery will trigger "Err" on the screen, flashing battery icons and a flashing red warning light. The 9V channel will not change the screen display, but both indicators turn red to report faults.
