Outdoor Skin Cleanser for Poison Oak & Ivy Oils - Itch Relief

Skin Cleanser is a highly effective solution for removing poison ivy, oak, and sumac oils from the skin and tools, providing relief from itchiness and preventing further spread of the irritants. This reliable cleanser is specially designed to swiftly eliminate urushiol, the itch-causing oil, ensuring a quick and thorough cleansing process. If you suspect exposure to these plants, simply apply the cleanser to the affected skin and vigorously rub for two minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. In case water is unavailable, you can conveniently wipe off the cleanser with a towel. For optimal results, wash your skin within 8 hours of potential exposure to potentially avoid a poison ivy rash.

Directions:

• Shake well before each use. Tecnu is most effective when used within the first two hours after exposure or as soon as the rash appears.
• Before the rash has started: Apply to exposed, unwetted skin within 2-8 hours after exposure to poisonous plants. Rub vigorously for 2 minutes to remove oil and other contaminants from the skin. If hypersensitive, wash your entire body with the cleanser. Rinse the skin clean with cool running water or wipe off with a cloth. Repeat as needed.
• As soon as the rash appears: Apply to the affected skin and surrounding areas. For the best results, apply to the entire body. Rub in for 2 minutes but avoid breaking the skin. Rinse with cool running water to remove the cleanser and poison oils. If itching persists, reapply, then rinse in a very warm shower (not a bath). Towel dry gently. Repeat as necessary before retiring.

To Clean:

• Pets: Saturate a cloth with Outdoor Skin Cleanser and wipe down the pet's coat. Follow with a pet shampoo water bath. Outdoor Skin Cleanser can also remove skunk spray from your pet's fur.
• Clothing: Saturate unwetted clothing with Skin Cleanser in a bucket for several minutes. Launder by itself with detergent and hot water.
• Tools: Wipe down with a cloth saturated with Skin Cleanser. Wash with soap and water.
