What is the shelf life of the Thickening Shampoo and Thickening Conditioner?

We are pleased to update the shelf life of Thickening Shampoo and Thickening Conditioner to 36 months from 31 months.

Why did the shelf life of the Thickening Shampoo and Thickening Conditioner change? Are these new formulas?

After completing ongoing QA related to the preservative system, we have determined that the shelf life of Thickening Shampoo and Thickening Conditioner can be extended an additional 5 months. This means that, unopened, these products now have a shelf life of 36 months. Please note, no changes were made to the formula.

When does the shelf life update take effect?

Follow the guidelines of our General FAQ - "How do I determine the expiration of a product". After determining the month and year of production on your product, anything after May 2022 now has a shelf life of 36 months. If you still have questions or concerns regarding your Thickening Shampoo or Conditioner Shelf Life please contact customer care.
